Jen here... In 2015 I gave birth to my son Joey and left the corporate world in the retirement industry. Since leaving finance, I've switched my focus and continue to pursue more creative endeavors. I have a passion for graphic design, painting, photography and "arts & crafts" as some of my former co-workers called it. I cant help it that I get super excited when back to school time rolls around. I should probably invest in crayola stock...When I did work the old desk job, I was always bugging my managers and VP for any outlet to exercise my right brain. He was good at recognizing his staff's potential and always put me on projects that would allow my creativity to come out and play. So, here I am. Self-employed, continuing my blog and finally putting all my designs and "arts & crafts" together for all to see.
I love to be outside in nature, exploring, meditating and walking around barefoot. I hate putting on shoes, and lets face it, earthing has so many amazing benefits. I have a little space I like to call my studio, its filled with lots of little magical things, a bunch of Nightmare Before Christmas stuff, sharpies in every color, and of course all things crayola. One year my mom even made me a crayola cake for my birthday! I always joke that for any occasion, all you have to get me is a new box of crayons and my little black heart would be happy. But for real, I'm that simple :)
